Can I start my membership in the middle of the month?

Absolutely! Fashion is all about the seasons and we want you to be able to choose your own bespoke season. Membership lasts for three months from your chosen start date. Start dates can be which ever date works for you.

My membership elapses while I am away and I was hoping to take a BagButler rental with me.

If your membership finishes at an inconvenient point such as while you are away with one of our rentals, we can add a daily charge to cover the time until the rental is back with us. Advance notice is always hugely appreciated as some of our most popular bags are often needed immediately for other clients or members.

Are all your bags and accessories included in the BagButler Seasonal Membership?

Only two of our bags are not included in the Seasonal Membership. These are the Chanel Red Classic Double Flap Bag and the Classic Large Vintage Single Flap Bag in Black.

Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions to this arrangement.

How many bags can I rent at a time?

BagButler rentals are limited to one bag and two accessories at any one time and all rentals need to be back with us before the next is sent out. We do this to remain fair to all of our clients and members.

Can I extend my membership at the end of my three months?

We would love you to stay a while longer with us and can offer pro rata extensions by special arrangement, or you can simply renew your three month Seasonal membership.  Please contact us to discuss this option.

How do I get started with my BagButler Seasonal Membership?

Getting started is simple! Please contact us and we will send you the details and our payment links. Customers who are new to BagButler will also need to complete a very quick ID check, carried out by our independent UK based identity checking company, TrustID, who adhere to all GDPR regulations and act behalf of many respected organisations including the NHS.  The whole process takes about 30 seconds.

What Is BagButler?

BagButler is a luxury designer rental service, giving you access to rent the latest designer handbags, jewellery and accessories from top designers for a fraction of the retail price. All our items are 100% genuine and sourced directly from reputable sources.

How Does It Work?

Peruse our fantastic collection of handbags, jewellery and accessories and book the items for the days you require.

How Long Can I Have The Items For?

Our minimum rental period is 4 days.

When Will I Receive My Order?

You will receive your order no later than the day your rental period starts.

When Do I Need to return the Items?

You return the items to us the day your rental period finishes following the instructions we will email you. Please return the items in the packaging they arrived in.

Can I Borrow The Items For Longer Than 4 Days?

Yes. Just select the period you want from our calendar up to a maximum of 14 days, unless by special arrangement.

How many items can I rent at a time?

You can rent 1 bag and 2 accessories at a time. Please contact us if you want to rent more than this.

What Condition Are Your Items In?

All items are in excellent condition. They have all been bought brand new by us, in either London or Paris.

Do You Ship Internationally?

No. Currently we only ship to the UK.

Do I Need to Clean the Items?

In a word. No.
The items all require specialist care and cleaning, so please leave that to us.
You may not clean any items or interfere with them in any way other than those pre-authorised by us.

Can I Borrow Items And Let A Friend Use It During My Rental Period?

The Terms & Conditions you agree upon when placing an order state that you will be the only person using the items during the rental period. If someone else uses the items during your rental period, you will still be held liable if any damage/loss or theft occurs to the items.

Can I Cancel My Order?

You can cancel an order before it is dispatched, but you need to contact us as soon as possible by email at Please note there may be a small charge to cover our out of pocket expenses up to this point.

Once the order has been dispatched, you lose your right to cancel except in cases where we have incorrectly fulfilled your order.

How Much Do You Charge For Delivery?

Nothing! With us it’s free P & P, Monday to Friday.

We levy a £10 supplement for Saturday deliveries.

Can I Get Delivery to My Work?

Yes. A signature is required upon delivery.

How Do I Return My Items?

Returns are by Royal Mail Tracked 24 and you will find a prepaid mailer bag with your rental.

All you need to do is drop the repacked item into your nearest Post Office and please ensure you get a proof of postage receipt.  This is important.

We will email you before your rental period expires with a reminder of the return instructions.

What Happens If I Return My Items Late?

A late fee of £50 per day will be applied to each item not received by their due date. This is a daily fee that will be charged until we have either received the item back or the item’s retail price has been reached. We also reserve the right to charge your credit card the full cost of the item(s) if the item is not received on the rental return date and or commence legal proceedings. When the item is finally received by us we will refund your credit card less the late fees and any costs for repairs if required.

I’ve Lost or Damaged An Item. What Should I Do?

Firstly, contact us immediately and we will try and help resolve the issue.
In case of loss or theft, we require you to report the matter to the police and provide us with a Crime Reference Number. Failure to do so may result in us charging you the full cost of replacement.
In case of damage, please contact us so we can discuss the extent of the damage and agree the best way forward.
In all cases, you may be charged for the cost of the making good.
You will however not be held responsible for any damage we class as normal wear & tear. This is at our sole discretion.

My Items Were Not As Described Online, Can I Return It?

Please email us at within 4 hours of receiving your items so that we can address your concerns.

Why Do I Have to pay a deposit when renting items?

All items on the BagButler website are authentic articles bought in either the UK or Paris. We take a deposit in the unlikely event that one of them is damaged, in the same way that one pays a deposit when hiring a car or renting an apartment.

What Payment Method Can I Use?

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay through our secure, encrypted payment gateway.

How long does my deposit take to be refunded?

We undertake to check all items returned to us within 24 hours. Assuming all is as it should be with the items we will then process the refund within 24 hours and it should be back with you within 5 days, subject to the banks processing.

How often do you get new items in stock?

We buy new items when we see something we love and according to the seasons. The collection we offer is carefully curated.

What if you don’t have the item I’m looking for?

Please let us know what it is you are wanting to rent. We acquire new stock on a frequent basis and it may be what you want is something we’ve just bought, but haven’t yet listed.
